- The other day, I bought a unix box which has a motorola 68000
- processor. The brand is Momentum.. when it boots it says UniSoft
- Unix 3.1. So.. that's pretty much all i know about it so far :) It has
- something like 800k ram, and bigger than a 50 meg hard drive (that's how
- much free space it currently has, according to df), a tape drive (but no
- tapes).. I actually bought 4 of these things, but only one has a hard
- drive, another one is only the case, and the other 2 have tape drives,
- ram cards, and serial ports. So, I guess the one that actually works
- has 10 serial ports. This thing has no built-in console screen.. (I
- connected my tektronix dumb terminal to a serial port labeled console
- and it works..) So, I was wondering if anyone could give me any info
- about this.. I'd like to do something useful with it. As it is, I'm
- currently attempting to build a cross compiler for it on my linux box.
- I guess I'll have to use kermit to transfer files.. (it has no rz, sz,
- and i'm assuming no tcp/ip support).. Just looking for some info on this
- thing.. :) thanks
